Scarboccia Newsletter Dec-March 2018

We have been very busy in the local community delivering Boccia sessions to various groups at Castle House Elder Street, Jazz Court, Springhead School Youth Club and Malton community sports centre.  They have been enjoyed by everyone and with a positive response.

Jazz Court

We will soon be introducing a new activity to our Boccia sessions called New Age Kurling, an indoor version of the Winter Paralympic sport of Kurling an Inclusive game that can be played by anyone, regardless of gender, age or ability.

Scarboccia now has members who have qualifications in Safeguarding Protection Children and Emergency First Aid in Sport and an appointed Club Welfare Officer.

We would like to thank Proudfoots and Yorkshire Coast Homes for their kind generous donations  to Scarboccia.
